Wellbeing expectancies and values

Investigates the role that individuals’ expectancies and perceived value in driving wellbeing outcomes. Our research suggests that the value individuals’ place on individual wellbeing components increases the relevance of that wellbeing component as an indicator of lives being lived well. For example, community engagement is an excellent indicator of lives being lived well but only when you value community service and engagement.
