Heather Hubble started working at the Research School of Information Sciences and Engineering (RSISE) in executive officer, marketing and communications roles before becoming the Marketing Manager at the ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS). She has a strong background in communications and before joining the University worked with several organisations in the community sector which focussed on consumer affairs and health. After this she concentrated on overseas aid and agricultural research through work with the International Agricultural Research Centres (IARC) via the Crawford Fund which is an activity of the Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering (ATSE).
After a period overseas and interstate Heather has returned to ANU as Manager of the Dementia Collaborative Research Centre – Early Detection and Prevention (DCRC-EDP) within the Centre for Research on Ageing, Health and Wellbeing (CRAHW). Here her work focusses on providing policy advice and support to the Director, as well as managing the NHMRC research grant, it’s sub-projects, and the knowledge translation activities of DCRC-EDP.
